When restaurant owner Michael Edwards started designing for the vibe at his inaugural restaurant Proper in Roncesvalles Village, Toronto (www.properfb.com) his inspiration was New York Italian, but make it a fully Toronto experience.

With the warmth and coziness already creating a definite energy, Michael worked with Fabrice to curate a special series of images from Fabrice’s Dark City & Synchronicity archive of black and white street photography taken throughout Toronto over the decades.

This set of 16 images is Proper Art and displayed throughout the restaurant to compliment the vibrancy of the space — a reminder of the bustle of the city covering many of it’s eras and eccentricities.
